Honors in Rome
The Honors Program invites ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ honors students to participate in this four-week study abroad opportunity.

OPPORTUNITY of a lifetime
- Between 10 - 18 students in the ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ Honors program.
- Jim LaGrand, Director of the Honors Program, and his wife, Betsy. They accompanied the last group of ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ Honors students in Rome in Summer 2022, and have travelled internationally both individually and with their family.

- ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ’s Office of Off-Campus Programs and , an organization with many years experience running trips all over the world for Christian colleges.
- You will arrive at Leonardo da Vinci-Fiumicino Airport (FCO) on May 19 or 20, 2025 and fly back to the U.S. on June 20. You are welcome to coordinate your flight with the LaGrands and to travel with them. Or you can fly on your own if this is more economical or convenient. Regardless, ISA Veritas will meet you upon your arrival at Leonardo da Vinci-Fiumicino Airport.
- You will stay in a local apartment that is in walking distance in the heart of the city that the will coordinate for you. You’ll be staying with other ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ honor students.

Seven credits in four weeks!
- HIST 206: Ancient Roman World (3 credits) taught by Dr. LaGrand. This course fulfills your Gen Ed History requirement.
- Course taken at American University of Rome (3 credits). List of courses available at AUR website here . Wide range of courses offered including ART 101: Roman Sketchbook, which fulfills your Gen Ed Literary and Aesthetic Ways of Knowing requirement.
- International missions/service-learning practicum working with missionaries in Rome (1 credit).
- The 7 credits you will receive from this program offer flexibility to do things like graduate early or free up space for another major, minor, or additional internships.
- You will complete your ELI requirement through off-campus programs.
- 2 major weekend excursions via coach and train with lodging included to Florence and the Chianti region and to Sorrento, Capri, and Pompeii.
- Trip of a lifetime!
- All classes meet Monday through Thursday. Friday through Sunday is for sightseeing and travel.

- In Rome within a couple miles of your apartment, you will find the Colosseum, the Sistine Chapel, St. Peter’s Square, Trevi Fountain, the Vatican Museum, and more.
- ISA Veritas will lead 2 major weekend excursions via coach and train with lodging included to the Florence/Chianti region and to Sorrento/Capri/Pompeii.
- $6950-$7850 (based on number of students) + airfare and food.

- Yes. ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ permits a one-time utilization of institutional financial aid for up to one semester and one program.
