Cyber Camp 2024
Location: ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ Cyber Center

This day camp is designed to introduce high schoolers entering 9th-12th grade to the world of cybersecurity. We will explore careers in cybersecurity, cryptography, digital forensics, ethical hacking, safe online behavior, Internet of Things (IoT), and social engineering. Students will receive instruction from ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ cybersecurity faculty, and will learn through hands-on cyber labs and interactive gaming. Jersey CTF
Location: In-Person @ NJIT Campus Center Ballroom, Newark, New Jersey; Online if unable to attend in-person

JerseyCTF is a beginner-friendly Capture the Flag competition that aims to inspire interest in cybersecurity. Hosted by the NJIT and organizations and the program, it is geared towards students, beginners, and professionals alike. JerseyCTF provides participants with jeopardy-style questions in categories including cryptography, forensics, binary exploitation/reversing, open-source intelligence, and web exploitation. JerseyCTF features a track parallel to the CTF competition, consisting of presentations and panels with renowned speakers from industry and government. You are welcome to register with friends and compete on a team of up to 4 people, or you can register by yourself and find a team in the Discord server. CAE Tech Talk Forums

CAE Tech Talk is a live, online academic forum where members of the CAE in Cybersecurity Community give technical presentations on cybersecurity related topics to the rest of the CAE in Cybersecurity Community. All representatives from National Centers of Academic Excellence in Cybersecurity designated institutions (e.g., professors, students, and staff) can present a topic as well as government representatives.
CAE Tech Talks are normally held on the third Thursday of each month during the Fall and Spring semesters.
The entire CAE in Cybersecurity Community is invited to attend the live presentation.

MACCDC 2023

Location: Largo, MD
ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ's CCDC (Collegiate Cybersecurity Defense Competition) team will be competing in this year's (Mid-Atlantic Collegiate Cyber Defense Competition). Over the past 18 years, the MACCDC has sought to create an original experience for not only the student teams, but all participants. Introducing competition themes and scenarios that imitate the real world add a dimension of realism and fun, while at the same time, highlighting real life issues.The in-person Job Fair is on Thursday March 21 and the Regional Finals (competition) is being held Friday March 22 - Saturday March 23 at the 301 Largo Rd, Largo, MD 20774.

The is powered by Cyber Skyline, a leading cloud-based cybersecurity skills evaluation platform offering a safe environment for students to practice their cybersecurity skills. Together with NCL, Cyber Skyline presents the biannual NCL Competition. NCL hosts two Seasons every year, once in the Spring and once in the Fall, aligning to US academic calendars. Capture the Flag

ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ’s Computer Science Club and associated Women in Cybersecurity (WiCyS) chapter will host their Spring CTF Night on March 1st. A CTF (Capture-The-Flag) event is a cybersecurity competition in which participants complete cyber-related challenges to find hidden strings of characters, called flags, that they submit to win points. Join us for a meal and discussion with industry expert Christina Martin on the ups and downs of leadership in the industry. Christina graduated from ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ with a degree in Computer Science and Business Information Systems in 2006. She has worked in IT and Cybersecuriyt for Highmark Health for over 16 years.
