Essential Resources for the ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ Writing Program
All good writing, whatever the circumstances, requires a solid foundation: an understanding of the principles that constitute clear, structured expression. By using these resources, students will gain insight into some of the fundamentals of writing: idea construction, thesis formulation, source evaluation, and peer review. Students can use these tools to guide your practice inside and outside of the classroom.
Writing Center
In addition to instructional materials and a robust writing curriculum, ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ also offers the services of a supportive Writing Center. Staffed by peer tutors, students can bring any project in any stage of the process -- from a blank page to a finished draft -- and have a conversation about their goals and how to meet them. Students can bring projects for classes or extracurricular, such as applying for scholarships or writing an entrance essay for grad school. Students can schedule an appointment at any time by searching the Writing Center on .
