Service Day
“We love because he first loved us. Whoever claims to love God yet hates a brother or sister is a liar. For whoever does not love their brother and sister, whom they have seen, cannot love God, whom they have not seen. And he has given us this command: Anyone who loves God must also love their brother and sister.” 1 John 4:19-21
Each spring, ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ hosts a “Day of Service.” Classes are canceled and individuals are invited to serve together as an expression of our faith commitment. Service Day is designed to help fulfill the University’s mission to prepare students for “lives of service, leadership, and reconciliation in church and society.”
Service Day 2025
Motivated by our love of God, we demonstrate love to others through meeting physical and spiritual needs within the community we reside.
This year, Service Day will be held on Thursday, April 10. Beginning in February, we invite students and employees to propose and lead service projects. The Agapé Center’s Department of Service Learning will provide support for on- and off-campus opportunities.
Stay tuned for Service Day opportunities in 2025!
