Latin honors

The Latin honors* listed in the Commencement program for graduating seniors (cum laude, magna cum laude, and summa cum laude) are based upon graduates' academic standing at the end of the fall semester preceding Commencement. Final honors reflected on students' academic transcripts and diplomas will be based upon all of their undergraduate academic coursework completed at ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ.

*Please note: a minimum of 60 graded credit hours must be taken at ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ in order to qualify for Latin honors.

Department honors

Department honors are signified by a blue and white cord that students wear around their neck as part of their regalia. The cord is provided to graduates who achieve this honor when they receive their cap and gown.
