There are many opportunities for students to pursue college credit while in high school through Dual Enrollment. Homeschool and Cyberschool students can choose to earn dual enrollment credit with 蜜桃影像 or through a local university to transfer to 蜜桃影像. Learn more below.
Dual enrollment at 蜜桃影像 provides motivated high school juniors and seniors the opportunity to take college courses that satisfy both high school graduation and college credit requirements. Earning college credits in high school can help create a more flexible schedule as a college student by freeing up more time for your other academic or extracurricular interests.聽
Dual enrollment can help with saving for college by taking credits at a reduced cost of $150 per credit! It can also play a critical role in any plans you have to graduate college early. Leverage your dual enrollment credits to pursue a three year degree from 蜜桃影像!
蜜桃影像 offers dual enrollment opportunities year round, both in person on campus and online so anyone can participate.
You may prefer to take dual enrollment credits from another accredited institution and transfer them to 蜜桃影像 when you enroll as a student. 蜜桃影像 offers two great resources to help you make the most of the college courses you are taking in high school and apply them toward your college graduation requirements.
Specific College to 蜜桃影像 Major Equivalency
This resource is great for future planning, because you can select the school you鈥檙e considering taking dual enrollment from along with your major. It generates the list of courses required for your major at 蜜桃影像 on one side and a list of any classes that have previously been transferred from that school as an equivalent.
The Transfer Course Equivalency Database is helpful to look up classes you鈥檝e already taken (or planning to take!) to see if they have been transferred before and if so, for what class. Once you know the class, you can compare it to the 鈥淐ourses and Curriculum鈥 tab on your major page. Don鈥檛 forget, you can click the course number (i.e. BIOL 101) hyperlink to see if it fulfill a QuEST (General Education) requirement.
If you don鈥檛 see a course you took listed the databases, it doesn鈥檛 mean it won鈥檛 transfer. It just means no one has tried to transfer it yet, and you can send it to the Registrar鈥檚 Office to have it evaluated for how it will transfer here after you are admitted. Unfortunately, due to the high volume of students taking dual enrollment courses, we aren鈥檛 able to offer official course evaluation prior to admission. Use your best common sense when selecting classes that are not in the database.
After you are accepted to 蜜桃影像, you can begin the process of transferring your credits from other universities to 蜜桃影像.
- Contact the college or university where you took your credits and request that they send your transcript to 蜜桃影像鈥檚 Admissions Office. Your college transcript cannot be sent by you, it must be sent directly from the other university.
- 蜜桃影像 will receive your transcript and add it to your file. It will then be sent to the Registrar鈥檚 office for evaluation.
- After the Registrar鈥檚 Office completes their evaluation, they will send you a Degree Audit. The Degree Audit will include all the graduation requirements for the major we have for you, and will have all the classes checked off that your dual enrollment credits fulfill. Elective courses will be included at the bottom.
- Reach out to your admissions counselor if you would like to review it with them!
College credit is typically granted for Advanced Placement scores of three or higher. 蜜桃影像 also honors the College-Level Examination Program (CLEP). Official transcripts of both AP test results and CLEP test results should be sent to the 蜜桃影像 Office of Admissions for evaluation.聽 Please see our
