PATTERN AND TEXTURE |
Selections from the Permanent Collection The Galleries at ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ are proud to present the exhibit Pattern & Texture curated by Professor Christine A. Forsythe. It will be on display in the Aughinbaugh Gallery from March 15th - April 1st. Professor Fosythe selected nearly 40 pieces from our permanent collection of art which has grown steadily over the past four decades to number over one thousand pieces. She called upon her keen aesthetic eye and background in fiber arts to bring together a beautiful exhibition of artwork across mediums. There are prints, paintings, drawings, sculptures, ceramics, fiber hangings and furniture that all relate to each other around the unifying themes of pattern and texture. It is a glimpse into the history of the Arts at ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ, and reflects the faculty, students and artists who have been an integral part of its growth. The Galleries at ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ are currently open only to students, faculty and staff in compliance with Covid-19 restrictions. Please direct any questions to Brian Menkis: bmenkis@messiah.edu |
