Centennial giving challenge hopes to inspire alums to give to ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ

Young alumni

The ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ College Board of Trustees has recently joined together to fund a $100,000 Alumni Centennial Challenge. This Challenge is being offered to encourage alumni to make new and increased gifts to ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ College during our Centennial year.

For 100 years, gifts from alumni have made a world of difference for ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ College students who go on to make a difference in the world. More than anyone else, alumni know the transformation that takes place through a ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ College education. Having benefited from the generosity of those who went before, it is especially important for alumni to personally continue the legacy of giving that nurtured them as students and that will continue to shape servants, leaders, and reconcilers who will make a difference in church and society.

The Alumni Centennial Challenge will match new and increased gifts from all alumni, up to a total of $100,000 during ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ College’s Centennial year. Here’s how the Challenge works:

  1. New gifts to the annual fund from alumni will be matched dollar for dollar, up to $100. Should an alum give more than $100, the first $100 will be matched.
  2. Increased previous-year or current-year gifts to the annual fund will also be eligible for the Challenge. The increased portion of the gift will be matched dollar for dollar, up to $100.

Make your gift now at or contact Rachel Pease, director of annual giving, at 717-796-5066 or RPease@messiah.edu.
