Freelance percussionist Joshua Long graduated from ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ College in 2019 with a B.M. in Music Performance. While at ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ, Josh performed in a wide variety of ensembles, including the Percussion Ensemble, Wind Ensemble, Symphony Orchestra, JazzOne, JazzTwo, and Jazz Combos, as well as performing as a vocalist in the ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ College Choral Arts Society. Josh also served as both the bassist and drummer for ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ’s touring worship band Seven from 2018-2019. Josh also amassed an impressive resume in the classroom, serving as a music theory tutor for the music department, as well as earning the prestigious Presser Scholar award in 2018. In addition to his work at ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ, Josh has built an impressive resume as a professional freelance musician, performing as a pit percussionist for Theater Harrisburg’s production of Newsies, as well as working as a percussionist for the RWS Entertainment Group in 2017. Josh also performed as a percussionist with the touring West African ensemble Azaguno in their 2016 performance in Accra, Ghana. Currently, Josh can be seen performing as a percussionist at Hershey Park amusement park in Hershey, PA.
