Profile

My passion for education began on my first day of kindergarten. I loved everything about the classroom environment and couldn’t wait to learn everything my teacher was going to teach me. When I became an elementary school teacher, my number one goal was to create the same kind of welcoming, engaging environment for my students. Throughout my career, I taught students in grades kindergarten, first, and second. In addition to classroom teaching, I served as grade-level coordinator, and I mentored many student teachers. These opportunities ignited a desire to use my experiences to help develop others. I am excited to help new teachers develop their ability to create engaging classroom environments for their future students.

I enjoy working out, grabbing coffee with friends, and spending time with my family.
