Danielle is an Arab-American (Syrian/Jordanian) first generation, born and raised in Sacramento, CA – and is a huge Sacramento Kings fan). She graduated with her B.S. in Cellular and Molecular Biology, with a minor in Global Studies from Westmont College. Her graduate degree comes from Johns Hopkins School of Public Health, and she holds an MHS in Epidemiology of Infectious Disease, with a certificate in Global Health. She currently resides in Baltimore, MD and is working for an implementing partner of USAID on global health projects as the program manager for the Asia, North Africa and Middle East region. These projects include maternal and child health in Jordan, as well as focusing on the elimination and control of malaria in Myanmar. Danielle is the middle child of 4 siblings, and loves being outside and traveling!
