Professor Temple attended and graduated from West Chester University with dual certification in Elementary and Special Education. While teaching, she went on to pursue her M.Ed. in Education and Educational Administration at Shippensburg University while also receiving her Superintendent’s Letter of Eligibility.

Retired with 35 years in public education, she is currently teaching at ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ, while supervising all levels of pre-service teachers. Professional experience includes special education teacher, instructional support teacher, Supervisor of Special Education, Director of Curriculum and Instruction, and Assistant Superintendent in local school districts.

A fun fact about Jeanne is that she makes awesome home/handmade chicken pot pie and loves to travel.

Professional Accomplishments
  • Implementing the model and provided leadership/mentorship in Educator Effectiveness by providing training, coaching, observer analysis, and reflection to administrative and professional staff.
  • Developing a three-year new Teacher Induction Program focused on research based instructional strategies, Danielson’s Framework for Teaching, and the creation of a professional portfolio for acquiring tenure and Instructional II certification.
  • Researching and developing the process and procedures for recruiting, hiring, training, and retaining professional employees.
  • Worked with Jay McTighe to create online learning courses in Understanding by Design.
